our founders

Dr. Khadiyatoulah Fall

Dr. Khadiyatoulah Fall, a distinguished professor and researcher at Canadian universities, previously held the Chair of Intercultural Research at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi, where he studied the visibility of Islam and the Halal economy in Quebec. A pioneer in analyzing Halal business in Canada’s immigration context, he co-published Le halal dans tous ses états in 2014, a key reference on contemporary Halal issues.


In Senegal, he co-founded the International Halal Business Expo (SIBM) and collaborated with various institutions, including CIDC, SMIIC, SESRIC, and government ministries. He has consulted for Canadian companies on Halal standards and quality.


Dr. Fall’s work has earned several honors, including the Knight of the Order of Merit of Senegal, the Olivier Lejeune Prize, the ACCA Mandela Prize, and a CIDC Recognition Award. He also served as Minister-Counselor at the Presidency of Senegal and is currently the President of SIBM.

Deneba Diouf

Mr. Deneba Diouf, Deputy Mayor and Founder of the International Muslim Business Salon (SIBM), is a prominent figure in the halal sector. He spearheaded the African Halal Business Forum in collaboration with the Senegalese Government and OIC partners, and serves as Associate Director of Halal Senegal SA.

Djibril Gueye

Djibril Gueye, a financial expert and halal quality management trainer, is one of the founders of the International Muslim Business Salon (SIBM). He initiated the African Halal Business Forum in partnership with the Senegalese Government and OIC partners and is also Associate Director of Halal Senegal SA.
