Halal Senegal SARL was founded on March 14, 2019, as a response to the growing demand for halal products and services in Senegal and West Africa.
Inspired by the International Exhibition on Muslim Business (IEMB)
Halal Senegal's creation was driven by initiatives from IEMB, which had been promoting halal business and Islamic finance in Africa since 2012.
Pioneering Halal Certification in Senegal
Halal Senegal became the first organization in Senegal to implement rigorous halal certification, ensuring trust and credibility for businesses and consumers.
Expanding Industry Awareness
Conducted training for 500+ professionals and helped raise government and private sector awareness of the halal market’s strategic importance.

Certified major companies such as PATISEN, SOBOA, and SAPROLAIT, enabling them to access national and international markets.
