Certification

A rigorous process, verifiable certificates.

OIC standards, on-site audits, an independent committee decision and a digitally signed certificate: every step is documented.

OIC/SMIIC 4

Cosmetics

Process

Seven steps, from application to certificate.

A documented path, qualified auditors and a decision taken by an independent certification committee.

Certification is independent from any training or consulting: attending a training course is never a condition for certification.

  3. 03

    On-site audit

Facility visit by a team of auditors and Shariah experts.

  4. 04

    Report and corrective actions

Findings, action plan and verification that they are closed.

  5. 05

    Committee decision

The certification committee, independent from the audit, rules on the file.

  6. 06

    Certificate issued

Numbered, digitally signed certificate with a verification QR code.

  7. 07

The label

The Halal Sénégal label and how to use it.

The label belongs only to certified companies, for the scope and duration of their certificate.

Certified scope only

The label appears only on products and services covered by the certificate, for the audited sites.

With the certificate number

Every use refers to an identifiable certificate (e.g. C.HSS001/2026), verifiable on halalsenegal.sn.

While valid only

On expiry, revocation or replacement, the label must be removed from new packaging.

As per the brand guidelines

Colour and monochrome versions, minimum size and clear space: the logo must not be altered.
