Flagship project

IsDB Reverse Linkage: towards a digital halal ecosystem

Through a strategic partnership with SERUNAI COMMERCE Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), funded by the Islamic Development Bank under its Reverse Linkage mechanism, Halal Sénégal draws on Malaysian expertise to build digital halal certification.

SERUNAI has supported Indonesia and Uganda in developing their halal industries. The partnership helps Senegalese manufacturers reach international markets.

Reverse Linkage is an IsDB technical cooperation mechanism that fosters the transfer of knowledge and best practices between OIC member states.
